Transition to Frontline Absence Management:  Starting July 1, 2023, Hilton moved to a new platform to request time off.  For employees that require a substitute, this program will request a substitute and document your time off request.  Please read the message below.

Common Questions and Answers:
  • How do I access Frontline's Absence Management:  If you had bookmarked Frontline in your preferred internet browser, please replace the old link by clicking the new (SSO) single sign on link: https://login.frontlineeducation.com/sso/hilton  
  • We highly recommend downloading the mobile application on any Iphone or Droid based phone.
  • Is Hilton requiring me to use an app on my personal phone? 
    • Answer:  No, we are suggesting using the app due to the ease and access this creates for employees.  SchoolFront was not able to be used on phones with ease and this application has a very favorable end user experience. 
  •  Why can’t I see my 200 sick days?  
    • Answer:  We have pre-loaded new accruals for the 2023-24 school year and will add rollover balances in mid-July.    
  • Who do I call for assistance with my Frontline Absence Management Account? 
    • Answer: We are all learning this new system together, so please contact Ned Dale or Brittany Nasradinaj for help if the problem can’t be solved after you have accessed the support/resources provided in this email or seeing your campus user at your building or department.

  •  Why did Hilton change another system?
    • Answer:  Based on the feedback of employees using SchoolFront and SmartFind for absences/substitutes.  Our goal was to streamline and enhance the employees’ experience when requesting time off and/or request a substitute.  We want all programs to have a favorable end user experience.

    January 2025 Human Resources Update Lunar New Year - 1/29/25: In 2025, Lunar New Year falls on Wednesday, January 29. There will be no school for students.                                                     August 2025 Updates From  The Office of Human Resources Student Enrollment in Hilton : Over the summer, I shared some enrollment data with a staff member who was surprised to hear that we have lost a few hundred students over five years.  This year's Kindergarten enrollment in the District is approximately 240 students, while the current 12th grade Senior class has 345 students. Please know that we continue to closely monitor the recent housing developments for enrollment changes.  HSA Cards : HSA Bank has switched from Visa to Mastercard, therefore those with an HSA Bank account will receive a new HSA card in the mail (if you have not already).   HR/Business Office November Blog Update 2024 Considering Retirement?   If you are thinking about retiring and would like to meet with us so that you can plan accordingly, please call the Human Resources Office to schedule a time that will work for you. Buying Back Time:  We received feedback from ERS and TRS  about the timeframe for buying back prior service. Currently, it is taking between 1 to 3 years for New York State to complete the buyback process. To buyback time, you must complete a buyback form and send it to the NYS Retirement System. According to NYS, you should expect to hear back within 10 weeks to confirm they received the form.
