August 2025 HR/Business Office Update
August 2025 Updates From
The Office of Human Resources
Student Enrollment in Hilton: Over the summer, I shared some enrollment data with a staff member who was surprised to hear that we have lost a few hundred students over five years. This year's Kindergarten enrollment in the District is approximately 240 students, while the current 12th grade Senior class has 345 students. Please know that we continue to closely monitor the recent housing developments for enrollment changes.
HSA Cards: HSA Bank has switched from Visa to Mastercard, therefore those with an HSA Bank account will receive a new HSA card in the mail (if you have not already). This new card will be effective starting on August 28, 2025. The card has a new account number, so you will need to update the account information with your doctor and/or pharmacy if they have your payment information saved. Should you need additional HSA cards for others on your plan, you can do so in your online account.
If you have any questions, you can contact HSA Bank with questions: 1-866-357-5232
Salary Notices: Salary notices for all employees have been sent out. Please check SchoolFront to ensure you have signed your Salary Notice, and let us know if you have questions: SchoolFront Login page. Your Salary Notice must be signed before you can receive your first paycheck of the school year!
Classified Staff Evaluations: If you have not already done so, please be sure to sign your 2024-25 evaluation! The form will be sitting on your Home Page in SchoolFront in the "Process Forms" section. Reach out to Brittany Nasradinaj in HR if you have questions (ext. 7023).
Frontline Absence Management Accrual Balances: Accruals have been updated for all staff, to include carryover balances as well as newly-credited balances for the 2025-26 school year. Please check your Absence Management account in Frontline to ensure that your balances are accurate. If you believe your balances are not accurate, and/or you have any questions about your balances, please reach out to the Office of Human Resources as soon as possible so we can look into the matter.
To view balances in Absence Management, ensure you are in your "Employee" role, and navigate to Account, then Absence Reason Balances.
When accessing Frontline, be sure to use the Frontline Single Sign On link. Best practice is to put your absence into Frontline as soon as you know you need the day off. If have an upcoming house closing, doctor's appointment, etc. and need to request a personal or sick day, please do so as early as possible. We appreciate your efforts to communicate your time off ahead of time. This allows your supervisor to plan ahead.

Hiring: Rochester Area Teacher Recruitment Day: As many of you may remember, Rochester held an annual "Teacher Recruitment" day that was attended by many and served as a kick-off to the hiring process for the following school year. Unfortunately, the local area colleges stopped running this event over the past few years and, despite our requests, do not have plans to bring it back to the area. In an effort to increase our opportunities, area school districts will be hosting our own Teacher Recruitment Day event on the March 2026 Superintendent's Conference Day. The event will be held at Gates-Chili CSD, which has plenty of space and is centrally-located. I am pleased to share that Hilton CSD is coordinating this entire event for the region. We felt compelled to coordinate this event without the support of area colleges. A link to the event details can be found using the following link, which we will continue to update as plans progress: Rochester Area Teacher Recruitment Day 2026
Required Trainings: Self-paced mode is still enabled for GCN courses. You must watch the first slide in its entirety, and then will have the ability to continuously click "Next" at the end of each slide. Employees must pass their trainings with a 70% or higher to submit and earn credit for the course. We hope this adjustment will allow employees to demonstrate their knowledge of these required courses.
Workplace Violence Program: We met with union leadership to review our Workplace Violence program. Incidents are reviewed at each safety meeting throughout the year. To access the summary of our Workplace Violence Program, you may go to the Human Resources Intranet Page. The Hilton Staff Injury report form is also there too and available in our nurses' offices. Please contact Ned Dale or Brittany Nasradinaj if you have questions.
If you are struggling with caring for a parent, relationship issues or anything that is preventing you from being the person you want to be, seek help. Just call EAP and let them know you are a Hilton employee.
